Biography
Edmond Céria (b. Évian-les-Bains, France 1884 - d. Paris 1955) studied at the School of Fine Arts in Geneva and went to the Académie Julian in Paris in 1904. He exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants in 1909, then at the Salon d'Automne in 1912, followed by several shows in Parisian galleries from the 1920s as well as playing in cafes a musician to supplement his income. He painted in the Ardèche, Savoie, Brittany, later in Marseille, in the south and especially in Château-Landon in Seine-et-Marne.
