Dail Behennah (1953)

Biography

Dail Behennah (b. Plymouth, UK 1953) originally studied geography as an undergraduate but then did a City & Guilds diploma in Creative Arts- Basketry at the London College of Furniture. She widely exhibits her designs in willow, the traditional British basket making material, internationally and thougtout the UK, particularly at Craft Centre, Ruthin, Contemporary Applied Arts, London and at Adrian Sassoon. Her bowl-making practice is formed from an interest in grids, fences and scaffolding and a love of maps.
