Physical Object Description:

View through trees of farmer herding sheep, with ruined aqueduct on hill beyond to right. 1920s? Etching. Signed on matrix in graphite. Pastoral landscape, Bosco Sacro; foreground, plants, grass and two tree trunks; middle ground, a grove of trees, a stone wall and a shepherd herding a flock of sheep; background, ancient ruins (a Roman aqueduct?). Sky left unworked. Etched with varied lines including cross hatching (School of Art Aberystwyth University; PR1737).
