This event was for CAS Museum Members only.
The day began at 11 am, with a 45 min guided tour of outstanding booths and artworks at Frieze London followed by an individual viewing, lunch, and a visit to Frieze Masters and/or Frieze Sculpture Park.
The afternoon involved a special visit to the house of the philanthropist and trustee of CAS Valeria Napoleone. CAS brought together curators from institutions who previously acquired an artwork through our Valeria Napoleone XX Contemporary Art Society scheme and participated in a panel discussion about the importance of these artworks within the museums and their public.
Additionally, the afternoon involved a tour of Valeria's collection, to learn about her experience supporting gender equality and the representation of women within the private and public art frameworks. The day provided an opportunity for our museum members to get together, exchange ideas, and discover new artistic proposals.
