Given the extraordinary circumstances, we have paused our regular Friday Dispatch until further notice. But we get so much positive feedback from all the thousands of people who read it every week, that we wanted to keep something dropping in to your inbox on a Friday afternoon. A sense of community is everything at the moment.

So, we are going back to our roots, to the founding principles of the CAS, that were all about supporting artists. #CASatHome will take you into an artist's studio for a brief conversation with an artist, recorded only hours before. We hope to introduce you to some people you may not know, and to offer a way to check in on the latest with some that you do.

Our first conversation is with London-based Gaia Fugazza. In coming weeks we hope to be dropping in on artists around the country, and internationally. You might also want to look out for other content that we are developing under the same "By Appointment" rubric. More on that next week.

For now, from everyone at CAS, we wish you safe and well and hope to see you all before too long.
