*Consultancy to deliver art strategy and programme at Granta Park, Cambridgeshire

Having successfully delivered a public artwork by Tania Kovats at Babraham Research Campus in 2021,  *Consultancy and BioMed are again joining forces to develop an ambitious cultural offer for Granta Park that will involve the commissioning of a bespoke public artwork and a linked programme of themed events and activities. The aim is to commission an artwork that is completely unique to the site, has resonance for the communities Granta Park serves, and is a positive addition to the campus’ sustainability agenda.

Owned and operated by BioMed Realty, Granta Park is an important estate in one of the world’s most dynamic life sciences zones. Home to leading companies including Gilead, AstraZeneca, Illumina, Pfizer, and PPD, the current estate offers 120 acres of inspirational surroundings in rural Cambridgeshire for a population of nearly 4,000 people working at the cutting edge of biomedical research.

Granta Park is expanding, with its Phase 2 masterplan approved by South Cambridgeshire District Council in 2022. With over 200 tenant partners, BioMed Realty provides real estate solutions for global enterprises, established biotechnology and innovation companies, leading universities and premier research institutions.

A Lead Artist will be appointed by the summer of 2023.
