We will begin the tour with a visit to Peckham 24. This 8th edition will explore photography’s multi-layered relationship to history, through the curatorial theme Back to the Future. We will meet Visiting Lecturer at London College of Communications, MA Documentary and Photojournalism, Jermaine Francis, whose rich and fascinating artistic practice focuses on the impact of colonialism in the Caribbean, in relation to religion, power and representation.

We will then visit Bosse & Baum nearby, as well as a newly opened series of commissions at Bold Tendencies. The commissions on display respond to the notion of Communion with participating artists Saelia Aparicio, Adam Farah-Saad, Olu Ogunnaike, Yoko Ono, and Martin Parr.
