William Mackrell (1983)

Biography

William Mackrell (b. London, UK 1983) studied at Camberwell Collge of Arts (2002); did a BA Painting at Chelsea College of Art, London (2005) and graduated from the MFA programme at Goldsmiths College (2016). Selected solo exhibitions include Galerie Krinzinger, Vienna (2019), Opening ARCO Madrid (2018) with The RYDER Projects London, Krinzinger Project Space, Vienna and The RYDER Projects, London (2017 & 2015), University of the Arts London, MOCA London (2012). Selected group exhibitions include Justine Art House Museum, Melbourne (2019), Art Basel Galerie Krinzinger, Vienna (2018), Albright-Knox Museum, Buffalo (2017), Drawing Room, London, Jerwood Space, London (2015), Dundee Contemporary Arts, UK (2012), Two Rooms Gallery, Auckland, Linden Centre for Contemporary Arts, Melbourne (2010). Works held in public collections include Manchester Art Gallery, UK, Albright-Knox Museum, Buffalo, Goldsmiths College Collection, UK, Justin Art House Museum, AUS and Krinzinger Collection AT.
