Terence 'Terry' O'Malley (1949)

Biography

Terence O'Malley (b. Hull, England, UK 1949) has lived in in Tasmania for over 25 years. He was head of the sculpture department at the University of Tasmania’s School of Art and has featured in many group and solo exhibitions. Paintings and other works by Terry O’Malley are in many collections, including the Australian National Gallery, the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, the Derwent Collection, the Queensland Gallery and the Artbank in Sydney, as well as in many private collections. Two Untitled gouaches were puchased from the Penwith Society by Sir Alan Bowness (1928-2021) for the Contemporary Art Society and were donated by them to Newlyn Art Gallery, Penzance, Cornwall, UK.
