Steven Follen (1967)

Biography

Steven Follen (b. Norfolk, UK 1967) studied 3D Design: Wood, Metal, Ceramics & Plastics and Art & Design History at Brighton Polytechnic (1987-89 & 1991-92) and a CLTAD at The London Institute (2003-04). He has taught jewellery and silversmithing throughout the UK and has exhibited his own work at Galelry 57, Arundel, Crafts Council, Contemporary Applied Arts and at Adrian Sasoon amongt others. He has received metalwork commissions from the National Trust (2012 & 2014) and various other instititions which have included 3-D design work for site-specific outdoor furniture. He has worked on projects across the UK as well as in India, Bangladesh, Australia, Italy and Finland. His work is included in the Contemporary Arts Society’s Special Collection of Metalwork at Birmingham City Museum and Art Gallery; and Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museums.
