Biography
Seamus Nicolson (b. 1971) garduated in Painting from the Royal College of Art (1996) but has been a photographic artist since 1997, exhibiting extensively both nationally and internationally. He has work in major public collections, such as the Tate, the Government Art Collection and the Arts Council. Nicolson is also an Associate Lecturer at Bath Spa University and has been teaching in Higher Education on BA (Hons) courses in Photography, Photographic Art and Photography for Fashion and Advertising for over a decade. He has also worked commercially, including fashion advertising campaigns for Vivienne Westwood. But Nicolson says, " I am not a fashion photohgrapher, but an artist shooting fashion."
