Sally Freshwater (b. 1956) studied at Goldsmiths College, University of London (1977-80) and the Royal College of Art (1980-82). Between 1917 and 2017 she taught at University of Hertfordshire. Her artistic practice emerges from a continual fascination with the architectural potential of textiles. Her work includes major site-specific commissions and is included in many private collections. She participated in a Crafts Coucil group exhibition, Echo at Plymouth College of Art (2015).
