Robert 'Robin' Wallace (1897 - 1952)

Biography

Robin Wallace (b. Kendal, UK 1897 - d. London, UK 1952) studied at the Byam Shaw School of Art and Cole School of Art in London. He exhibited regularly at the Royal Academy until 1940 and then again from 1946. During WW2 moved from London to Kern, Ross-on-Wye and worked on the land. Returning to London, Wallace taught part time at Channing School and resumed exhibiting. His work is held in several British collections, including:Graves Gallery, Sheffield,  Manchester Art Gallery, Abbot Hall and Brighton and Hove Museum and Art Gallery.
