Biography
Richard Pomeroy (b. UK 1960) studied art history at Manchester University (1979-80) and is now Chairman of Somerset Art Works. He founded the Richard Pomeroy Gallery (now Purdy Hicks Gallery) in 1986. He has participated in exhibitions of his own 2D art and also ceramics at John Jones Gallery (1996); Jason & Rhodes Gallery (1995); JHW Fine Art (1999 & 2000). He has had solo shows at The Air Gallery, London (2003 & 2006) as well as at The Chapel, Bruton, Somerset (2006) and now frequently has exhibitions throughout the county. He held a solo show in different venues throughout Saint Petersburg, Russia (2016).
