Rhys Coren (1983)

Biography

Rhys Coren (b. Plymouth, UK 1983) studied Art & Visual Culture at UWE, Bristol (2006) and completed a Postgraduate Diploma at the Royal Academy Schools, London in 2016. Cohen lives and works in London. Solo exhibitions have included Ripple, Seventeen, London (2023); Solitary Social, Seventeen, London (2021); Shape of Story, Seventeen, London (2019); Rock-hard Aura and the Lost Explorer, Grimm Gallery, New York; Main Street Video, Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art, Ridgefield, Connecticut, USA;  Love Motion, Royal Academy of the Arts, London as part of Lumiere Festival (all 2018); Whistle Bump Super Strut, Seventeen, London (2017); click, click, click-clap-click, galerie pcp, Paris, France (2016); If We Can Dance Together, Jerwood Project Space, London (2014); Four to the Floor, Horatio Jr., London (bot 2014); Loz Chalk and Rhys Coren, Beat the Box, Corfu, London; Apparel & Ornament: A research project by SPACE and Rhys Coren, SPACE, London - curated by Paul Pieroni (both 2013); and Rhys Coren and Jack Newling, The Man Who Knew Too Little, Seventeen, London (2012).
