Biography
Ray Kyte (b. London, UK 1947) is a self-taught artist who lives and works in Kent, England. He exhibited at the John Moores Liverpool Exhibition (12) at Walker Art Gallery (1980), alongside Howard Hodgkin, Patrick Caulfield and Ben Johnson, when the Victoria Gallery & Museum, University of Liverpool acquired his Round the Table(1979) painting with support from the Contemporary Art Society. Further exhibitions were held at Brighton Museum and Art Gallery; Everard Read Gallery, South Africa; Pompidou Centre, Paris; and the ICA, London.
