Percy Gethin (b. Bagnalstown, co. Carlow, Ireland - d. Battle of the Somme, France 1916) settled London in 1905 and taught life drawing in Central School of Arts and Crafts. He was in Paris 1911-12, after which his etchings were taken on by Colnaghi. He was killed in Battle of the Somme, 28 June 1916.
