Biography
Patricia Bickers was a writer on Art Monthly from 1983, Associate Editor, 1989, and editor since 2003. She has lectured at St Martin's School of Art, London, Goldsmiths' College, London, and the Ruskin School of Drawing at the University of Oxfor and is principal lecturer in art history and theory at the University of Westminster. She is the author of The Brit Pack: Contemporary British Art, The View from Abroad (1995), and co-edited, Talking Art: Interviews with Artists since 1976, (Art Monthly and Ridinghouse Editions, 2007). She was also on the Contemporary Art Society's Fine Art Advisory Committee and was responsible for its purchase of artworks in 2005.
