Biography
Mel Brimfield (b. Oxford, UK 1976) lives and works in London. She studied Fine Art in Bath and Chelsea College of Art. Brimfield is an artist working in film and live performance. Recent solo exhibitions include John Hansard Gallery, Southampton (2013); Peter Scott Gallery, Lancaster Institute for the Contemporary Arts (2012); Ceri Hand Gallery, London (2012); Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Wakefield (2011); and Mead Gallery, University of Warwick (2011).
