Marion Rhodes (b. Huddersfield 1907 - d. 1998) studied at Huddersfield School of Art, Leeds College of Art and the Central School of Arts and Crafts. London. She exhibited at the Royal Academy, the Royal Scottish Academy, the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, other provincial galleries and at the Salon in Paris, winning Gold and Silver and Bronze Medals. She was elected to the Society of Graphic Artists in 1936 and in 1953 to the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers. Her work is held by the V&A Museum; Bradford, Brighouse and South London Galleries. The British Museum holds some of her drawings and one print.
