

Dr Malcolm Easton (1910-1993) was the Senior Lecturer in the History of Art at the University of Hull and Founder and Honorary Curator of the University of Hull Art Collection. He organised the exhibition from the collection: Art in Britain 1890–1940 : An Exhibition of Paintnigs Sculpture Drawings & Documents at the University of Hull between 27 Feburary - 20 March 1967 and wrote the essay Camden Town” into “London”: Some Intimate Glimpses of the Transition and its Artists, 1911–1914’. Easton co-wrote, with Michael Holroyd, The Art of Augustus John (1974).
