Biography
Jenni Lomax OBE was the Director of the Camden Art Centre for 26 years from 1990 until 2017 and prior to that set up the Community Education and Public Programmes at the Whitechapel Art Gallery in the 1980s, under its then Director, Nicholas Serota. She was the designated purchaser for the Contemporary Art Society in 1998/99, acquiring 12 works of art, including those by Chris Ofili and Donald Rodney (1961-1998).
