Jason Collingwood (1963)

Biography

Jason Collingwood (b. UK 1963) is a rug designer and weaver who established Collingwood Designs, Suffolk, UK in 1986, after apprenticing in the workshop of his father, Peter Collingwood (1922-2008). He has made rugs for corporate and private clients throughout the world and retired in 2022. He taught throughout the world, often spending three months each year in the USA. In 2018, Jason was the keynote speaker at the world’s biggest gathering of weavers, Handweaver's Guild of America, called Convergence in Reno, Nevada.
