Biography
Ian Alec Johson Cheyne (b. Broughty Ferry, Dundee, Scotland, UK 1895 - d. 1955) was a painter and printmaker, particularly of colour woodcuts, who was educated at Glasgow Academy and studied at Glasgow School of Art. Cheyne exhibited regularly at the Royal Scottish Academy from 1920 until the end of his life.
