Howard Raybould (b. London, UK 1946) studied at Hammersmith College of Art (1965-66) and Ravensbourne College of Art & Design (1966-69). He won awards from Gulbenkien Foundation and the Crafts Council. He had a solo shows at Crafts Advisory Committee Gallery, London (1978); British Crafts Centre (1982); Thumb Gallery, London (1984); and Jill George Gallery, London (1988). His commissions have included for: Swiss Volkbank, Daily Telegraph, Victoria & Albert Museum, Eastern Arts, and Prior’s Court School. Raybould moved to France in 2001, and lives 60 kilometres north of Montpellier at the foothills of the Cevennes National Park.
