Helena Ben-Zenou (1970)

Biography

Helena Ben-Zenou (b. Nottingham, UK 1970), studied at the University of Lancaster. Solo shows include Brahm Gallery, Leeds (1993), and Cartwright Hall, Bradford (1997) and she has participated in group shows including at the Piece Hall Art Gallery, Halifax (with Liza Dracup) (1997); Scottish Sculpture Workshop, Lumsden (1998); and The Approach Gallery (1999). Ben-Zenou participated in the Acme Fire Station Residency Scheme where she exhibited abstract pictures, inspired by cities, aerial views, maps and plans  and was shortlisted for The NatWest Art Prize in 1999.
