Hamish Parker (1959)

Biography

Hamish Parker (b. UK 1959) is a fund manager in the City of London and collector of modern and contemporary graphic art. He is a major benefactor to the modern collection at the British Museum and in 2011 he funded the purchase of Picasso's Vollard Suite in memory of his father, Major Horace Parker (-2010) and in 2014 he funded the purchase of Picasso's 347 Suite in honour of the Britsh Museum's Department of Prints and Drawings, with special thanks to Antony Griffiths (former Keeper) and Frances Carey (former Curator of the Modern Collection).
