Gordon Bryce RSW, RSA (1943)

Biography

Gordon Bryce RSW, RSA (b. Edinburgh, Scotland, UK 1943) studied drawing and painting at Edinburgh College of Art (1960–5). In 1965 he won an Andrew Grant Travelling Scholarship to Spain. From 1968 he was a lecturer in printmaking at Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen. He won many awards, including a Sir William Gillies Travelling Scholarship; Scottish Arts Council Award; and an RSW May Marshall Brown Award. Bryce had two solo shows at New 57 Gallery, Edinburgh in 1966 and 1968.
