Dona Salmon (1901 - 1992)

Biography

Dona Salmon, née Winifred Mary Flett (b. Newingtom, Midlothian, Scotland 1901 - d. 1992) studied at the Slade School of Fine Art. She was a member of the New English Art Club and exhibited at The Redfern Gallery and the RA (1957, 1958, 1959 and 1963). Many of her paintings were of Tenerife. Mrs Dona Salmon is also in a CAS Annual Report (1958) as individual subscriber (patron) with her husband, Julian Salmon and C. Salmon Esq.
