Biography
Barry Hirst (b. Padstow, Cornwall, UK 1934) studied in London at Camberwell School of Art and Slade Schools of Fine Art. He has taught at the Camberwell, Watford, Croydon and Chelsea Schools of Art and at the University of Sunderland. He was an Emeritus Professor of Fine Art at Durham University around 2010.
