Barbara Joan Walker (b. UK 1923 - d. 1975) studied pottery and modelling at the Farnham School of Art under Charles Vyse (1882-1971) and won a scholarship to study sculpture at the Royal College of Art (1943-47) whilst it was located at Ambleside, Cumbria during the war.
