Ane Christensen (1972)

Biography

Ane Christensen (b. Copenhagen, Denmark 1972) studied jewellery design at Sir John Cass School of Art and metalwork and silversmithing at the Royal College of Art. She was an assistant for Howard Fenn and Alfred Pain before setting up her own practice in London in  1999. She has participated in many exhibitions in the UK, most recently: Salone Del Mobile with Se Collections, Rossana Orlandi Gallery, Milan, Italy (2017); Cosmima Group Show, Clerkenwell Gallery, London, UK (2016); MADE Marylebone, No. 1 Marylebone, London and Edge to Edge Group Show, Studio Fusion, London (both 2016) as well as working for commissions like: Finger Bowl for New College Oxford (2017); Dialogue (2009) Group of Wall Sculptures, Development Securities plc, London; Dragon (2007) Wall Sculpture, St George’s Hospital, London and Negative Bowl (2006), Victoria & Albert Museum, London.
